12th - "Spartacus", featuring Ross Kemp in his first role for American television, is to air April 18-19 on USA Network. No word yet on the air date for Sky.
12th - The Mirror has an interview with Shaun Williamson who played Barry Evans on "EastEnders", in which Shaun reveals how it was Ross who set him on the road to acting. Click here to read the full interview.

9th - The publicist for "Ultimate Force" kindly
gave me an update today. She says that the third series should begin pre-production
next month. Locations have not yet been confirmed but the bulk of the production
will take place in the UK. Apart from Ross Kemp, no other cast
are confirmed at this time.
23rd - Ross was a presenter last night at the prestigious Olivier
awards at the London Hilton. The awards honor the best in British theatre.
24th - MediaGuardian reports today that Ross Kemp, well
known as a Labour activist, will be chairing 'An Audience with Alastair Campbell'.
This is a one-man show in which Campbell, one of Tony Blair's closest confidantes,
talks about his experiences in Downing Street and takes questions from the audience.
This will take place at the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank in London on
Monday, March 1.

17th - An official source has kindly informed
me that both series 2 and 3 of Ultimate
Force will be released on video/DVD this year, dates to be confirmed. Series
3 is currently filming.
:April:
5th - Ross Kemp will once again be chairing "An
Evening With Alastair Campbell". The show will take place on May 23 at 7:30
pm at The Old Vic Theatre
in London. "I’m delighted to be chairing An Audience With Alastair
Campbell", says Ross. "Alastair is a good friend. We both love politics
and a good argument so it’s sure to be a lively and entertaining evening
at the Old Vic. I’m really looking forward to it."
29th - Ross has again denied that he is planning to return to
EastEnders. A new BBC Radio 1 story quotes him as saying, "I haven't been
asked and I don't particularly want to at the moment. I'm doing other things".

the decline in the quality of British soaps. He told the TV Times, "The
big ones are being flogged to death at the moment. They've been overscheduled.
I think there are only so many times you can tell the same story." The

8th - Ross Kemp will be a presenter at the Police
Bravery Awards being held in London tonight. The awards will be screened on Sky
One at 9.05pm tomorrow.
20th - Rumor #1,879 squashed: Earlier this month, the press [namely
the ever-reliable Daily Star] reported on Ross Kemp's return to Albert Square
as Walford's own hardman, Grant Mitchell. His return was rumoured to coincide
with his on-screen sister's attempted suicide and Andy Hunter's Queen Vic takeover.
Unfortunately for 'Easty' fans, these rumours have been quashed. A BBC spokeswoman
said: "There are currently no plans for Ross Kemp or his character Grant
Mitchell to return, absolutely none." (Digital Spy)

3rd - The Daily
Record
reports that Ross Kemp will soon be appearing in a new documentary entitled
"Lethal Attraction: Why Americans Love Guns". This is to air on Sky
on September 21. The article does not say whether the producers bothered to talk
to an actual representative cross-section of American society to ensure they wouldn't
inadvertently perpetuate the stereotyping of an entire nation. My guess is "no".

UK. There have been months of confusion and speculation as to the air date for series 3 of "Ultimate Force", as well as the DVD release dates for series 2 and 3. At this time it appears that series 3 will begin airing in mid-January 2005, with the DVD releases coming out shortly thereafter.
13th - Some details have finally been released on Ultimate Force
3. In addition to Ross Kemp reprising the role of Henno Garvie, Christopher Fox
returns as Louis Hoffman. Real-life SAS vet Derek Horne plays Sean Smith, alongside
Heather Peace as Becca Gallagher and Louis Decosta Johnson as Dave Woolston. Storylines
are said to include a shootout in Basra and a terrorist attack on a jet. Series
